Sree Kerala Varma College has had a towering presence amongst all the colleges in Thrissur district as well as in the state of Kerala, ever since its inception in 1947. These 70 years have seen a host of students pass out through the gates of Sree Kerala Varma. Many of these students are now well known and well respected in their respective fields. Many towering figures in Kerala Politics and the Kerala Legislative Assembly, world renowned scientists and academicians, poets, journalists, Theater and cinema personalities, industrialist and sports personalities have all been students of this college.
