?ensure that there is no discrimination in the college campus on grounds of disability or minority status.
?analyse all possible ways in which the SC/ ST, OBC and minority groups could be helped and encouraged.
?establish counseling centers to address their psychological problems and other related issues.
?create a socially congenial atmosphere for academic interaction and healthy interpersonal relationships among the students coming from various social backgrounds.
?enhance the diversity among the students, teaching and non- teaching staff population and at the same time eliminate the perception of discrimination.
?ensure elimination of social disparities and adequate representation within the campus. The main objective is to provide assistance and to oversee effective implementation of policies for disadvantaged groups.
?To establish help desk during the time of admission and examinations for assisting differently abled students in getting admissions and other facilities for their studies.
In strict compliance with the directions of UGC, the college makes a provision for arranging a separate examination hall for the physically challenged students, and ensures the allotment of an extra 20-minute time per hour to all students who employed scribes to assist them in writing the exams. The college authorities also help these students to assess all the facilities available in the college in an effortless manner.
It is a matter of immense satisfaction that the college administration takes every possible effort to facilitate external funding to support students with disabilities. They are made aware of the opportunities and funds they can avail. Meetings are organized for the parents/ guardians of the students to address their issues and to provide them emotional support.
To ensure a barrier free access to all buildings in the college including the various departments, library, waiting room, canteen and the college office, several ramps were constructed as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Urban Development.
The institution is also blessed to have socially responsible and benevolent teachers who wholeheartedly support the students. Deepa T S, former Assistant Professor, Department of Malayalam took initiative to donate wheelchairs for physically challenged students in the college.
The institution always shows willingness to collaborate with like-minded institutions to organize awareness programmes and career oriented course to the students, in order to boost their confidence and to become successful individuals.
