Department of Chemistry started functioning in the year 1954.The department offers UG course in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as complimentary courses.The undergraduate department in Chemistry was upgraded into PG department in the year 1998.It has produced many outstanding personalities in the field of science, education, culture etc.
