DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS

Department of Statistics,  started functioning in the year 1979.The department offers UG course in Statistics with Mathematics and Mathematical Economics as complimentary courses. Prof. P. Chandrasekharan was the first Head of the Department. Prof. T. Suseelan was the other member of the Department.

ACTIVITIES

• Honoured Shri M.I. Ramachandran, Senior Intelligence Officer, who received Presdential Award, on 23.02.2018.
• ATOSS-- Association of Teachers and Old Students of Statistics, Sree Keralavarma College organised "SNEHARDRAM" on 11.02.2018 for honouring Prof. C. M. Latha, Principal, Sree Keralavarma College who will retire from service on 31.03.2018. 
• Organised a One Day Orientation Program by Department of Statistics, Sree Keralavarma College in association with ATOSS. 
• Conducted a National Level Conference on Interdisciplinary Realms of Statistics on 09-10, January 2015.
• Organised a Quiz Competition for under graduate students on December 2014.
