REMEDIAL COACHING

The system of remedial teaching is practiced to make up the deficiency of slow learners especially from the disadvantaged group. The extra intelligent students of the same class are advised to assist their less privileged class mates. The co operation of the parents is sought for conducting remedial classes on holidays for weak students.

Sree Kerala Varma College, affiliated to the Calicut University has successfully conducted the UGC remedial coaching programme for the academic year 2015-2016. SKVC new remedial coaching committee was formed on 10-11-2015 and prepared the entire plan and time table. The committee has divided the class hours and (192 hours for PG and 112 hours for UG programmes,)selected the faculty members from each department. Maximum priority was given to the students belonging to the SC, ST, OBC and OEC categories. It has received whole hearted support from all departments of this college.
