Founded in 1947 by His Highness Sree KeralaVarma, and governed at present by the Cochin Devaswom Board.
Online Applications are invited for admission to Post Graduate Programmes in Affiliated Colleges/Centres of the University of Calicut for the academic year 2023-2024. All candidates seeking admission to PG programmes irrespective of the quota (General merit/ Reservation/ Sports/ Persons with disabilities/ Kashmir Students/ Tamil Linguistic Minority/ Community/ Management etc.) should compulsorily register through Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The candidates who have not registered through CAP will not be permitted to take admission at any stage of the admission process.
I) Admissions to Programmes which come under the purview of Centralised Allotment Centralised Admission Process Allotment to the seats under the merit/reservation quota is conducted through Centralised Allotment. Selection/Allotment of a candidate to a particular programme to any College will be based on the index mark & the priority given by the candidate and the availability of the seat.

III) Payment of Online Registration Fees Fee for online registration can be remitted from 16.06.2023 onwards. Last date for Fee payment will be 27.06.2023, 5.00 pm.
Payment of fee for online registration can be made only through e-payment system (SBI Online/ Payment Gateway/ Friends Janasevana Kendram/ Akshaya Centres). Printout of the application will be provided only if the payment is successful. Online Registration Fees General Category Rs. 445/- SC/ST Category Rs. 185/- Important Note:- Application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
IV) Eligibility for Admission and Index of Marks Candidates registering their options, should satisfy all the eligibility criteria with regard to the academic qualifications prescribed in the eligibility criteria and indexing rules for admission to various programmes published in the website before starting the registration.
V) Allotments There will be a minimum of two allotments for GOVERNMENT, AIDED,UNAIDED COLLEGES, IHRD INSTITUTIONS & UNIVERSITY CENTRES prior to the commencement of classes.
VI) Mandatory Fee :
Mandatory Fee General category Rs. 510/-
SC/ST/OEC-SC/OEC-ST/Communities eligible for educational concessions as is given to OEC candidates Rs. 125/-
After the allotment, the prescribed Mandatory Fee due to the University as detailed below will have to be remitted (or as instructed by the University from time to time) by the candidate through e-payment within the time prescribed to claim the allotment. The candidates failing to do so will loose his/her current allotment and they will be expelled from further allotments. [The SC/ST/OEC-SC/OEC-ST/Communities eligible for educational concessions as is given to OEC candidates taking admission in the self financing programmes at Aided/Self Financing colleges should remit Sports Affiliation Fee (Rs.295/-) and University Union fee (Rs. 90/-) at the college while taking admission.]
VII) Schedule of PG Single Window Admission 2023-24 Detailed Schedule of PG Single Window Admission 2023-24 will be published in https://admission.uoc.ac.in/
Candidates should compulsorily go through the Prospectus, Eligibility Criteria & Indexing Rules for PGCAP Admissions 2023-24 available in the website https://admission.uoc.ac.in/ for details regarding online registration, eligibility criteria, indexing rules, allotment and admission. Note: The printout of the Online application and chalan/payment slips need not be sent to the University , but candidates are directed to keep the same with themselves and shall submit it to the colleges where he/she gets admission.
