Forum for Democracy and Social Justice (FDSJ)

The Forum for Democracy and Social Justice (FDSJ) is constituted by the Institute of Parliamentary Affairs of the Government of Kerala with the aim of promoting parliamentary literacy among the students. Model Parliament is one of the club's important activities. Through Model Parliament, students are able to understand and experience parliamentary procedure. In addition to the Model Parliament, the club will initiate seminars, debates, essay writing, quizzes, and elocutions on the topics of democracy and social justice. This club was started at Sree Keralavarma College in October 2022. Dr. Arun K.V., an Asst. Professor of Political Science, is the coordinator of the FDSJ. Kumari Jashidha Abdul Karim, a postgraduate student of political science, is the student coordinator.
