Entry into Service Cell Convenor : Dr. C R Pramod
Entry into Service Celll provides coaching/training to students who belongs to SC/ST/OBC and Minority communities to gain capabilities to acquire employment in various state and central level government services and in similar private sector jobs. The coaching under the scheme is oriented for particular examinations conducted for selection to services, such as the IAS, State Public Services, Bank recruitment, Indian Economic Services etc. The coaching focuses on specific requirements of the mentioned competitive examination.

2016-17
PSC coaching program was jointly conducted by the Entry Into Service Cell and SC/ST Grievance Redress Cell. The 75 hours programme was conducted by 'Thanal' Charitable Trust. Training classes were conducted for English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Malayalam, and Mental Ability. Model Exam was conducted on 09-04-2016.
2015-16
Public Service Commission Examination Coaching Programme was organized jointly by Entry Into Service Programme & SC/ST Grievance Cell for SC/ST/OBC/Minority students from various departments under the scheme of “Coaching for Entry into Service”, with the monetary responsibility entirely taken care by Entry into Service Programme. The coaching started on 02-01-2016 and completed on 19-03-2016. The programme was conducted for 75 hours. Classes for 2 batches with combined total of 150 students with 75 students in each batch were conducted on every Saturdays spanning 15 days. Classes were initiated by teachers from ‘Thanal’ Charitable Trust. The course content included English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Malayalam and Mental Ability. On the completion of the classes a model examination was conducted on 09-04-2016. Forty eight students attended the model test paper.
2014-15
The Aptitude Skill Training Programme for Competitive Examinations including NET exam for lectureship for Paper I examination (29-11-2014). 54 hours spread over 9 days along with two model examinations were conducted. 80 students participated in the programme.
Two day workshop on short film and stopmotion was conducted on 9th and 10th January 2015 as part of skill development for students by Entry Into Service Programme in association with IMAGE and National Skill Development Corporation. Around 40 students participated in the programme. Theatre and Cine artist Manu Jose inaugurated the workshop and conducted classes along with short filmmaker Jeevaj Raveendran.
2013-14
Entry into Service Cell organized Indian Economic Service orientation and training program for Post Graduate Economics students. Inaugural lecture was delivered by Saju Surendran.K.S (IES) on 24/03/2013. This lecture provided students with general overview and orientation regarding Indian Economic Service. 78 hours of training classes were conducted as part of the program.
2012-13
Soft Skills and Communicate English training program was conducted for 50 students for 30 hours. Course content included effective communication skills, group discussion, and interview skills etc. The course was completed by December 2012.
